Trauma & EMDR
Trauma-informed therapy, including EMDR, to help you process what's been carried in the body and mind.
Trauma isn't only about a single event — it can be the accumulation of experiences that left you feeling unsafe, disconnected, or stuck in patterns you can't quite explain. Whatever brought you here, this is a space to work through it at a pace that respects your nervous system.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR is a structured, evidence-based approach for processing traumatic memories, reducing their emotional charge, and helping the nervous system move out of a stuck stress response. It's particularly effective for PTSD and for trauma connected to addiction, and I trained in it through Elevate EMDR Academy (2025).
My approach
I integrate attachment theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS) alongside EMDR, working from the understanding that different parts of us developed protective strategies for good reason — even the ones that no longer serve us. We move at a pace that keeps you feeling safe and in control throughout.
